Question Changing ownership of WaaSMedic in registry

I'm trying to disable WaaSMedic from services, but it isn't letting me ("Access is denied"). I went to registry to change ownership of the WaaSMedic key but it also isn't letting me do that. How can I disable it?

I was wondering if you already tried Booting Windows In Command Prompt and then running the Net Stop Command to disable the service?

thank you for your response. No, I have not tried this yet, but won't this simply stop the service, and not disable it? It also seems to be more of a general command and not service specific?
