So, tomorrow is the day!

I went out and bought the ThermalTake A71 and I was just looking for some advice.

I've never swapped a PC case and I've never completely build a PC from scratch.

I'm planning on just following this video.

I'm just worried something will go wrong. How worried should I be about getting static damage? What should I be prepared for?

Just looking for some small tips you guys can give from errors or situations you've encountered.

Let me know guys, thanks a ton!

Pretty straight forward, video seems good. Only tip I can think of is to take a quick pic of your front panel connectors (bottom front on mobo) as sometimes they are not labeled or labeled poorly- pic is just easier than referring to your mobo manual but you could do that to.

Just don't force anything, wiggle connectors loose don't yank, turn off power supply (don't forget to turn it back on and panic) and don't wear socks on a carpeted floor...

When building make sure to build on a static free place like a counter top or table and make sure to ground yourself occasionally ( gripthe metal part of the case with both hands).

If anything goes wrong the majority of the time a cable is not plugged in.
