Im changing all of my parts in my PC except my SSD and hard drive. So when I put it all together, Will everything work as normal?

Solution

You make a bootable windows 10 usb stick with the microsoft media creation tool beforehand and then boot from the stick. Then format the ssd and reinstall windows. Do disconnect the hdd when doing this to prevent accidents from happening.

You'll have to reinstall windows since it will not work. It might boot but sooner or later it will start having major issues.

I wouldn't put anything besides the Windows 10 ISO on the drive to avoid issues, at least until Windows 10 is complete and your able to get into the desktop. Then your motherboard/GPU drivers should be downloaded and installed directly from the manufacturers websites.

During this WHOLE process, have only the SSD connected.
Reconnect the HDD later, only when the system is actually running fully on the new hardware.

What is on the HDD?

No need to format that. At all.

After the new OS, and you install the new Steam client, just tell the Steam client where those games are located.
