Hello Tomshardware community! I currently have a HP ENVY 700-230, it has

  • i5-4440 processor
    8 GB DDR3
    Intel Graphics 4600
    300 W Power Supply (Dimension: 150mm x 140mm x 86mm (5.9 x 5.5 x 3.4 inches))
I really want to play games that require an actual graphics card, but I was told that my power supply will not be able to handle graphics cards from Nvidia/AMD. What power supply and graphics card can I purchase that I can run game like GTA V on low/medium at 1080p? My budget is around $300, but lower the better. Thank you for your time.

Great computer!! Bad power supply and no video card, however....
Hmm, if you pick up a EVGA 600B from Amazon for $40, and then pick up a used GTX 780 for $180 on eBay, that will make a huge difference!
Applause on i5-4440, great processor!!

Oops, I forgot to mention. It has 300 W (100V-240V) and I'm not too sure about the spare connector part. I know that its dimensions are 150mm x 140mm x 86mm (5.9 x 5.5 x 3.4 inches) and its form factor is internal ATX

The link to the computer is: HP ENVY 700-230

Thank you so much! I will order those later tonight, and hopefully I will be able to install those with ease. Haha.
