Changing processor of hp dv6000

Please I have an hp dv6000 with an AMD Turion processor running at 2.0ghz can what kind of processor can i upgrade it to without changing my mother board

The only options you have are all going to perform similarly. You could try to find a slightly faster Turion, but it really isn't worth the hassle. You really need to think about getting a new laptop with a more modern (capable) CPU.
