Changing RAM Voltage

I accidentally purchased 2x8GB RAM sticks that operate at 1.5V, rather than the recommended analogous sticks that operate at 1.35V. I thought I would try to change my RAM Voltage settings in my BIOS before taking them back to the store. Does anyone know what kind of problems I might run into by increasing my RAM Voltage?

Additional Information:
PC System: Asus M52BC US005S
MOBO Model: M5A97 EVO R2.0
BIOS Version/Date: American Megatrends Inc. 0203 08/07/2014
RAM Part: Crucial Ballistix BLS2KIT8G3D1609DS1S00

I contacted Crucial and spoke to tech support, because their website "guarantees" compatibility between the cards I bought and my computer. After I discovered they were, in fact, incompatible, the Crucial representative referred me to the 1.35V cards, and once again "guaranteed" that they would be compatible.

I'm positive the sticks I bought are 1.5V, and that my computer won't boot when I try to use them. The Crucial rep said I had the wrong voltage, but if you are suggesting otherwise, any idea what the issue might be?

I took my PC to a certified ASUS Technician and they assured me my CPU/GPU/MOBO are all connected and functioning properly, as is my existing RAM. I've also determined that my existing RAM is running at 1.5V.

It seems that Crucial's RAM is simply incompatible with my MOBO, despite what their website guarantees. I'll have to check out some RAM from that QVL you shared.
