I've had an issue that's bugged me for a long time. Since going to windows 8 (now 8.1) my monitor configuration is annoying. I have three monitors;
Samsung (main)
LG (secondary)
Sony (TV, not always on)
And in order above, windows reads them as 2,3,1 where I want them to be 1,3,2. Meaning that make my Samsung my main 'PC Screen', my LG to be 3, as it's there only as a extended desktop, and my TV to be my secondary (making the switch between 1 and 2 MUCH easier.
Back on windows 7, I used a registry trick to do it. But I can't remember how exactly I did it. All tutorials so far either didn't work, or broke my registry (probably my fault there).
Does anyone know HOW to make my Samsung monitor my PC Screen (number 1 in the idenifier). I've looked everywhere, and no one knows. My GPU is a GTX-660.
And this isn't as simple as right clicking and making it my main display. As my monitor is currently the main display, yet under project (Win+P) it shows as Secondary Display!
