Changing Setup - Is There Anything I've Missed?

I am using the setup below to play games (99% of the time I just play the MMO - Rust). It is a VERY demanding game, so I want to upgrade.

ASRock Z77 Extreme4 DDR3 motherboard
Intel Core i5-3570K 3.40GHz (Ivybridge) CPU
Corsair AX 860W PSU
KFA2 GeForce GTX 970 OC Silent "Infin8 Black Edition" Graphics Card
Benq XL2420T 24" TRUE 120Hz 3D Vision 2.0 Widescreen LED Monitor
G.Skill 16GB (4x4GB) DDR3 1600Mhz RipjawsX
Samsung 256GB 830 Series SSD


I am thinking of changing the motherboard, RAM and CPU. I want the best CPU, so I reckon the i7-6700k 4.0ghz skylake (socket 1151) is a must. What would you recommend me as the Motherboard and RAM?

Please note: I won't be doing water cooling, or any dual graphics SLI configuration. Budget £500-£600.
