Changing Wholesaler Tasks

Many of my friends are able to zone out after recieving a wholesaler and
zone back into the wholesaler and ask for a new one if they don't like
the one they got. I can't though, she just tells me she gave me one
already and I can't delete it either. Is there something I am doing wrong ?

You need to wait 30 minutes to get a new task. It may be longer but I
think it's 30 minutes.

I was unable to change my wholesaler task when I tried, even after
considerably more than 30 minutes. This was my first task at the
wholesaler.
I have changed a workshop task, but I had already completed one. I am
not sure if that is relevant.

I have not tried recently, but I have changed both types of tradeskill
tasks in the past merely by asking for a new one, after some waiting
period, not sure what the minimum time to wait is.
