Changing windows color

Is there a way to change the Bright windows white color to something a little more dark ? It just hurts my eyes to much when I open up a new window all the time. I want to change the window back-ground color from White to a dull Blue. Is it possible ?

Thanks . I downloaded it and it is running which is better than nothing But I was trying to change to a different color altogether. I may have to go into another forum and try C++ to change it.
