You take land from your opponents
🙂
They're just like civs, they reproduce, work and pay taxes, albeit at a
lesser rate (except for work)

🙁 (i.e. I think it's 3 for mines, 1 for lcms, etc... ) If anyone

First you need to understand "Avail"
http://groups.google.com/groups?hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&threadm=brpv93%24lv2%241%40news.tue.nl&rnum=1&prev=/groups%3Fhl%3Den%26lr%3D%26ie%3DUTF-8%26q%3Davail%2Bempire%2Bencyclopedia%26meta%3D
Now that you have that, you calculate production this should give you a good
start...
info Quick-Ref
info Products
info produce
Basically you have your production effeciency (p.e.)which is calculated
differently for various items based on tech, or natural resources, etc.
(this is in Quick-Ref) You have the work force (which counts births in its
calculation) and you have the avail required for each unit. Avail required
is equal to the number of widgets to transform it into the "new widget" for
example guns take 10 hcm, 5 lcm, and 1 oil. 10+5+1=16 avail to make one gun.
At 599 avail in a 60 etu game, you can make 37 guns, however your p.e. is
applied to this number. Lets say its 80% .8*37=29.6 So you have a 40%
chance of making 29 guns and a 60% chance of making 30 guns (either way you
pay for 37)
