Chaos Empire--recipe does not work

I am using version 7.55. I tried to use the following recipe for a clvl
assassin using the Jakira set. I was able to put in the two sockets with
no problem and the two runes went in OK.

2) YOUTH (2 Sockets)
Runes : Ort + Eth
Level : 21
Mods : 9% Chance to Cast Level 4 Weaken on Striking
90% - 120% Enhanced Defense
Replenish Life +8
Regenerate Mana 100%
30% - 35% All Resistances.

Instead of the expected properties, I just got the added stuff from the
two runes. What did I do wrong?

I have used other recipes and got the expected results. Are there any
other recipes that don't work?

Runewords don't work in set items or uniques in this mod. You can
socket set items and uniques with the maximum allowable amount of
sockets for the basic item instead of the single socket that you can get
in regular LOD.

You can find rare items with lots of mods and put a runeword in it.
However if you play online Chaos Energy has asked in the TOS that you
don't create items with more than 20 mods per item. You're better off
just gambling till you aquire the whole Jakira's set. And runes are
easy to get. HTH

Thanks for the info.

I only play solo for many reasons, so I won't have any online problems.

Is there some place where I can find info like this written in English;
I don't read German any more (at 70 years old, I have forgotten what
little German I learned).

I have the whole Jakira set, I was just trying to goose it a little
higher. Actually, by combining the set with some rares, I have a pretty
good combination for an assassin who depends on traps.

So far, it's a great mod!
