I'm playing this co-op with my 10 year old daughter. She normally likes
games like "Super Monkey Ball" but for whatever reason she is really liking
this...

Problem seems to be we are like Jason Voorhees and Freddie Krueger. Sure we
sneak around alot, but it seems we always end up leaving a bloodbath before
all is said and done.

I was able to do EVERY level on Hitman 2 and got silent assasin (basically 1
kill, 1 bullet, no alarms) on every one. In this game I'm constantly
alerting the guards. Any suggestions for us?

Pratice.

A few years back I played the demo of SC1. I was getting it for Christmas
from my wife but I could not wait. I played and played the
demo over and over again. Each time I would see if it was possible
to sneak past guards and eventually I was able to go through it
without an alarm and without a kill. All that work
helped when the full release came out. On SC3 I doing the same thing
I try to be as sneaky as possible. If I fail and alert a guard
then I restart from checkpoint until I get a result a like. I also
might restart to try something different. A very fun game.

Off topic; should 10-year olds be playing games like SplinterCell?

With their parent? Why on earth not?

Pay more attention to your visibility meter than the actual level of light.
If it's all the way to the left, you're invisible even from a distance of a
few inches, as long as you keep still. Also, avoid pressing all the way on
the control stick, even when crouching. Don't push more than about halfway
or they can usually hear your footsteps.
