Chap 2 OC: Lentan

Hi Group,

When I first installed NWN when it first came out, I was able to talk to
Lentan in the barracks by the troll cave complexes. Doing so enables the
quest to get Delgiabs? head.

Now going through the OC to create a character that will eventually be used
for the expansion disks, but I can't stop Lentan from whacking away at the
target dummy.

What have I missed.

It's a bug. To fix it, press the tilde key and type
DebugMode=1
Press the tilde key again and type
dm_setfactiondefender
You should be informed you've Entered Targeting Mode, and the cursor
which change to the one that shows when you cast a spell. Click on
Lentan. Press the tilde key again and type
DebugMode=0

Now, incidentally...

Shadows of Undrentide assumes a new first-level character--it will be
ridiculously easy if you attempt it with a character who's completed the
OC. Hordes of the Underdark assumes a character who completed SoU, not
the OC.

Does that work when you you have the head? I got the original quest, but
now he is stuck whacking away now that I have it.

Or...you could just cast Charm Person on him. Worked just fine for me.

My recollection might be faulty, but didn't he want *two* heads? I
think I had that same problem when I had killed only one of the bandits,
but when I killed both, he would talk with me again.

Either that or I'm confusing another quest...

That's a different quest, one in Chapter Three.
