[SOLVED] Charger causes cpu speed to drop.

I have a Pavilion 15 p158sa.
It's not great but it can run a some games but i have a few problems with my laptop.

1. Plugging in the charger causes an IMMEADIATE drop in CPU speed. (From 2.60 GHz to 1.09GHz)
2. I tried AMD Overdrive but all settings reset after closing AMD overdrive.

It's probably not an issue per se, but a FEATURE.
Plugging in the charger activates the power saving mode - I mean, it would take longer to charge if it didn't do that.
