Charger port being very picky on what position the charger has to be in to charge (Dell Latitude E5410)

Yesterday my charger port on my laptop decided to start only charging when the charger is pushed in a certain way and then a different position today, but now it just completely stopped working

You will need to change the power input on the laptop side. Either the pins on the charger gives out(i.e, it gets bent or broken) while the input end on the laptop tends to also give out. I'd advise on taking the laptop to a repair shop first to rule out any issue on the motherboard's power input end in case you might need to replace a power delivery component n said motherboard.
