Charging and transmitting Data with Tablet

Hi,
In my current School Project i need to continuously exchange data between an Andoid Tablet and an Arduino Board. I felt like a serial connection via micro usb port and Arduino Pins is the best choice.

Now is there a set up, to connect the Tablet with the Arduino and simultaneously charge the Tablet? (for instance with a seperate charger)

I think that the answer is part of your project.

Do some research online. Google for diagrams and images.

Work out what you think is necessary and design the circuits accordingly.

Then post your design and request comments and suggestions.
