Chassis fan question.

Hi guys,

I recently built a new PC.
I have a few issues that I need you people to throw some light upon.

I have purchased the Antec X1-T cabinet with window. The cabinet has 2 chassis fans. The fan in the front has a LED.
My issue is that the motherboard (Asus B85M-G) has only one 3-pin connector for a chassis fan and I have connected the rear fan to it.

I tried getting a Y-split cable for connecting both fans, but it is not available. Even the converter cable from PSU connector to 3-pin is unavailable.

How can I connect the front fan? The front fan cable has an LED. Does the LED get powered by the 3-pin wire? I tried searching Antec site but it was of no use. No information on the wiring.

On a different note, I have a windows XP system which takes 6-7 hours to boot and then hours to display the desktop icons. Any take on that? HDD might be busted?

Here is the manual: https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/B85MG/HelpDesk_Manual/

You should be able to find a splitter or 3 pin to molex adapter for pretty cheap online. Keep in mind a fan running off of molex will be at 100% speed at all times
First off what mobo do you have that only has one case fan header? Second, the LED is connected via a different wire stright to the mobo. You really should read your manuals they explain these things and where they are on your particular product

What do you mean by these cables are "unavailible"

Thanks for the reply Jameson. The motherboard is Asus B85M-G.
The connector cables are not sold in any location nearby. They say they'll have to order it.
About the manual, my engineer had opened the chassis box before he came to my house. I searched for the manual hardcopy but didn't get it. I'll have to try online.
There is only one 3-pin header on the mobo.
