[SOLVED] Chassis fans run at max speed

When I first start my pc, the fans run at the silent speed that I asked, but after 3 seconds they rev up to max speed and stay there. Does anyone know how to fix this? Maximus X Hero Motherboard. I have AI suite installed and tried uninstalling and still get the issue.

NVM I figured it out my fans are three-pin not four-pin

Does that mean you found out how to control their speeds, or just that you are resigned to having them run full speed all the time?

Good point. A 3 pin fan can be controlled too.

My hero xi board has options in bios for fans - auto, pwm, volts.
Should not be an issue.
