[SOLVED] Chassis intrusion error

Okay these all may be dumb questions but I am new to the computer thing. I have started getting a "chassis intrusion" error when I start my computer. As far as I knew this feature was never hooked up. I have done some research and tried implementing the things I found like shorting the cmos puns and removing the cmos battery. When I remove the cmos battery it does allow me into the bios but even when I reset as soon as the computer restarts I have to do the whole thing again to bypass the error. Any ideas of how else I can’t try to fix this?

Turning that feature off in the Bios is the typical fix.
If you can't find the setting, let us know the make & model of the motherboard and we'll try to help.
