Chassis not providing GPU screw placement

Hi all, my GPU fits perfectly fine with the motherboard and is running right now with no problems. However, I'm worried that my GPU might snap or fall off since it won't screw into the back of the chassis. Photo here to explain better : http://imgur.com/a/uMBks
http://imgur.com/Yp1BUel From this image I believe the red circle should align with the green circle, but the green circle is not a screw holder, it's more of a bump which is preventing the screw to align.

Solution
It looks like the bumps still have small openings though, yes? I wouldn't use zip ties, as they won't be flexible enough - liberal use of plastic-coated wire should do what you need.

Either that or just take a pair of wire snips / a dremel / a power drill and fix the problem of not having a place for the zip ties to go. :)

Hey DarkSable, I'm not sure how to quote/reply to you here but yeah I believe I'm supposed to have an entire separate chassis plate that can attach to my chassis and holds screws. As shown in this photo http://imgur.com/Yp1BUel I am missing a gap (this chassis is old and I do not know where it went), Is it possible to purchase one? And do you know what's it called?

I strongly doubt that's something you can purchase a replacement to, as it's going to depend on the design of the case. It would probably be called a PCI bracket, or something like that.

Do you guys have computer repair / scraap places? That's the best place to see if you can find a case for cheap.

Yeah, that looks like the kinda thing you're looking for. Haven't seen that kind of design in a while, but it's an older case, so that's probably it.

I have to say, I love your ingenuity with that. However, I wouldn't trust one of those things to hold over time; it's going to get bumped and loosen. I would grab wire or string and use the holes / indents in the tab on the graphics card to literally tie it down.

Yeah I think I'll need to use zip ties. I'm not sure how it's going to work since the hole for the screw on my GPU aligns to a "bump" on my chassis, so the zip tie can't go through the GPU's screw hole
