Hi folks

I built a cheap PC based on i3 2100,intel dh61ww ,gtx 660 ti, 4GB of 1600 RAM from Corsair, case with 500w psu and ssd adata 128gb

Computer does switch on with fans but no display or beep codes. When i remove ram there is beep code that no memory is installed. I checked both GPU and RAM on different machine and they are perfectly fine. I checked on intel website RAM support and it is up to 1333mhz so my question is it possible that mobo does not support the ram and wont start up the pc? or the mobo itself can be faulty? I know components are ancient but it only has to be a pc to watch yt and social media.#

thanks

Follow this guide first. And cover each step - even if it seems basic.

RAM could well be not compatible, but personally I doubt it - your RAM would simply downclock to 1333 if its all your MB can support.
