Cheap 1440p Monitor

Can someone point me to a cheap 1440p monitor that doesn't cut too many corners to reach it's price? I recently bought a gtx 1070 and decided that my 3 year old 1080p monitor wasn't doing it justice. I don't really have a budget but I'd prefer to keep it fairly low. If there's any recommendations for monitors that you've personally used that would be great because I don't really trust all the reviews I see on amazon and newegg. All feedback appreciated

The 1440p models everyone wants are $700 (Acer XB271HU / Asus PG279Q)

On the cheap... the price on the XG270HU has dropped precipitously to $380

Hey, I can personally recommend the BenQ GW2765HT (the link is to Amazon), which I've been using for around half a year with a GTX 970, got it for around £270 here in the UK and I'd say it's worth every penny.

For reviews, you might want to check out tftcentral, they don't have too many different monitor reviews, but the ones they do have are really in-depth. I found their input-lag tests really useful when I was looking for a new monitor.
