Looking to get a cheap and efficient SDD. Big enough to run Windows 10. So 25-40gb I think is what Windows 10 claims. Also can someone tell me why GPT is what format I should use? My buddy keeps telling me that my hard drive is throttling me or something like that. Any help would be appreciated.

I would NOT get a 32-64GB SSD for Windows. Win 10 might need ~40GB with updates and what not, but you also need to install all your other programs. Firefox, Chrome, office program(s), vlc/other media players, etc. You will find 64GB to be to small, and even a 120GB might not be enough. Any games you want faster read speeds for will also need to be on the SSD.

You can pick up 1tb SSDs for $100-$125. 500/512GB drives should be no more than $80. I honestly wouldn't bother with a 64GB drive.

"So 25-40gb I think is what Windows 10 claims. "

Absolutely incorrect.
Even a 120GB drive is marginal and not recommended. Seriously.

What is your actual budget for this? Remember...you'll be living with this drive for several years.

My old system had the OS on a 120GB drive. After Installing win7 and all the stuff I need to use the PC I had it half filled. ~60GB. (112GB formatted?) It's possible to do it. I know I used win7 and not win7, but I'm pretty sure it can be done. The biggest issue I see is you don't have any room for real games. Games are 60GB easy, 100GB+ is very possible. If you only have 50GBs free after installing windows and stuff, you don't have room for games.
