Cheap and reliable PSU replacement

Hey there i need of abit of advice about a new psu as mine is on the way out i think shuts down randomly with no warning and struggles to last past a boot up. Currently have a Asus P5Q pro,Q6600,AMD 4870 1gig ram,1 CD drive,1HDD and two sticks of ram built it over 4 years ago. Kind of lost touch with whats what so thougt i'd come here and ask to be sure and not waste any money. PSU i've got now is a hiper 800w PSU but reading up about it seems 800w might have been abit of overkill.

Actually, since you have the budget, you may as well get modular, it really helps with airflow and keeping your case insides looking nice.
