A friend asked me a couple of days ago to build him a PC. The problem is that he doesn't have much money and he wants to use it for gaming. He only wants to be able to run new videogames and a computer that could last a bit.

Here are the specs:

-Motherboard- Asus H81 Plus
-GPU- Asus GeForce GTX 750 Ti Strix OC 2GB GDDR5
-Processor- Intel Core i5-4460 3.2Ghz Box
-PSU- Seasonic Eco Series 430W 80 Plus Bronze
-Hard drive- Seagate Barracuda 7200.14 1TB SATA3
-RAM- G.Skill Ripjaws X DDR3 1600 PC3-12800 8GB 2x4GB CL9
-Case- Nox HTPC Media HD

I have a couple of doubts about this build:
1. Will all this fit in that case? (The case must be that one or something similar)
2. Is AMD a better choice since the price must be as low as posible? (Any AMD recommendations)

Thanks!!

In my opinion i5-4460 + GTX 750 Ti is just as good as Intel i3-4160+GTX 960 for example, because when he upgrades the GPU in a couple of years he will have a strong processor ready.

Both options, i5 or i3, are equally good.

This not good build for gaming more money in GPU and change the CPU for i3 4160

If you tell me where are you buying i can build you a better gaming PC, for 600€ you can get good gaming PC in germany but you most likely are not from germany by looking at your name. Spain, Portugal or something else ?

Unless he is playing mainly CPU heavy games like Civ, Total War, Minecraft, Starcraft etc. I would drop the CPU to an i3 and bump the GPU up to a GTX 960 or R9 280x.

Alternatively AMD would be decent at this budget, the Athlon 860K is a decent cheap gaming CPU. Pair that with a GTX 960 or R9 280x and you've got a great budget gaming system. If you go for the AMD CPU and AMD GPU I'd get a 500W PSU.
