I already have 16 GB of DDR3 ram and a 700W power supply from a previous build, and I want to build a cheap PC to play some moderately demanding games and run CAD and illustration programs.
I have already made a parts list, and chose a few older components because theyre pretty cheap, but there arent many reliable AM3+ motherboards for sale. Should I ditch the idea of using older parts to save a few bucks, or should it be sufficient to cover my basic day to day needs?
