ive been buying a few parts to upgrade my computer since its been running slow lately. i bought an ssd and a liquid cooler that ill be installing once i buy all the other parts. i currently have a 4690k, gtx 970, 8 gb of ddr3 ram, and a pretty bad motherboard. i also have a razer kraken pro chroma usb that has a constant hissing noise and someone suggested i get a motherboard with emi shielding. i found this online not sure if its good or has decent emi shielding since its cheap but https://www.amazon.com/MSI-Gaming-Skylake-Motherboard-H110M/dp/B01B4U47E4/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1504042133&sr=1-1&keywords=msi+motherboard
i am going to be getting 16 gb of ddr4 ram and my current motherboard doesnt support that i dont think since mine is ddr3 ram. i also want it to work with my h60 liquid cooler and with the 7700k. thanks. btw i can probably go up to 200 dollars for the motherboard if i have to.

H110 does not support K series processors...it will boot but ya paid a premium for the K to get it so why get a MoBo that doesn't support the feature.

What will the box be used for ... the entry point for has gaming MoBo has been $130 and no MoBo represents this better than the MSI Z270 SLI Plus. What we have seen in recent years is the MoBo vendors have been using substandard audio and sound chips in boards < $150.

The MSI plus however has dropped $25 and at $106 is a steal

Here's a review of the last generation Z170 model, Z270 differs little other than upgraded chipsets...

Supports RAM up to DDR4 3800
6 x SATA 6Gb/s ports
2 x M.2 slots
Realtek ALC1220
Intel I219-V
6 fan headers
Military Class 5, Guard-Pro Circuitry (Titanium Chokes, dark solid caps (10 year life)
Higher temp requirements to pass spec 5
Provided Humidity protection
Multiple PCB layers / shielding
ESD protection at all I/O ports
Additional EMI protection

Asus TUF series includes many of the same measures.

As for what items to bring along ....

-Yes, 2 x 8Gb of DDR4-3200 recommended (slower stuff almost same price)
-The H60 will work, but like all CLCs they won't outperform equivalently priced air coolers... various air coolers between $35 and $45 will cool better.

You have the budget to get a board with more features or bling, question is do they do anything for you ?

Other boards to look at with board owner ratings (5 = I love it / 1 = I hate it)

$165 MSI Z270 Gaming Pro Carbon (74% 5 eggs / 2% 1 egg)

$180 Gigabyte Z270 Aurorus (65% 5 eggs / 11% 1 egg)
