Well i recently bought an RX460 HIS edition 2gb and i was wondering if my psu will be able to give out enough juice for it
My pc specs are
Intel core I5 4460 3.2ghz
8gb ram
1tb hdd
RX 460 ( previously had a GT 610 for a year)
Headway 500w psu
H81M PRO-VH msi motherboard
Do ya'll think the psu is a good thing in that?
The PSU did come along with the casing, which was for at least $40 so i guess that the psu might probably be about.. $20? Something like that
For now, i've played bf4, gta4 with some decent fps and yes the psu did increase in temperature but however, everything seemed to work perfectly fine... i barely know anything in PSUs..
Here's how the psu looks like -

Solution
Well its a generic 300w by the label & the 12v output , with a 500w badge.

There's enough wattage there for your i5 & a 460 .
Quality is likely bad & that's always a risk that you have to decide is worth it.

But yes on paper it's strong enough foebthoae components.
nope dont its a brand unknown be in the teir 5 catagory fire hazard catagory go for an evga, antec chroshair ,coolermaster brands some the most reliables psu brands to stick with your psu is your heart & soul of your machine when i build i dont cheap out on psu's i rather have it survive a 3 years before an overhaul so i buy decent quality reliable brands i live in NZ & a got 2 haswell h81 boards running i3 cpu's 8 gigs ram on antec vp 600watts found them impressive for price & warranty & services antec offer i havnt had any issues but i dont overclock but over calculated for a buff if future upgrades in the future

Sorry for downvoting your answer, my bad, yes i'll try to buy a new psu, but what do you all recommend me?
As for now everything seems to be fine..
Well i need more detail

Depending on your budget, one of the best budget PSUs is the Seasonic S12ii 520W PSU, that will allow more than enough power for your GPU, and rest of the build, and it also has protection in place in case anything breaks, then it wont take out most of your hardware with it.

Thank you all for your answers
Yeah i'll try to swap psu in the future days as i'm critically low in budget
But i don't want anything to be wiped out by my psu also
Thanks

MERGED QUESTION
Question from Bananapotato : "How much wattage is the 500W Headway PSU?"

by the 12 Volt rail it has 25A or 300 Watts I would not use it in anything. I would really not think it could put out 300 watts without going POP.
