I need server for work with an accounting program (doesn't seem to demanding, the program is based on SQL) 4-5 users will use that program daily.
I need a backup for the whole OS and the data, because reinstalling software and re-setting all databases costs very much and only the accounting program provider can do that. Maybe you have encountered such issues and have a solution for this? So far i found that RAID 1 could help me do this.
Here is a build i plan to use for the server https://pcpartpicker.com/list/8b9Ghq
I've read that these new AMD processors are better at multi tasking and since the server will be constantly used be 3-5 people it seemed like a better choice. So i tried to make a build around it with the parts i can find in my country. Maybe an i5, like 6500 would be better?
16GB ram seems like an overkill, but i don't know how much of a load they could get so i put more to be safe.
Maybe someone could suggest a build? cheaper and smaller would be better.
