Hi guys

I've just finished the 2003/2004 season with Wimbledon on 01/02. I am
selling Matt Jansen because he never refound his form after his better than
average first season with the club. He lost his starting place to Ole
Solskjaer who now partners Claudio Pizarro. Can anyone tell me the name of a
good, cheap, EU national striker that could be on the bench with Luca Toni
(who rotates with Ole) or possibly take the other starting spot? I don't
know how much I have to spend but I with the other players I need to bring
in I doubt I can spend much more than £5m. They will need to be good now not
potential stars as I am hoping to go one better in the Champions League and
win it this year. Cheers guys.

Game history:
Wimbledon, Michael Harman takes over July 2001
First season wins first division by landslide
Second season loses out of Premiership title after being top until the
penultimate game of the season
Third season finishes third in Prem and runner-up in Champions League
Biggest signings:
Silvain Wiltord from Arsenal (£4m) 2002
Claudio Pizarro from Bayern (exch for Wiltord) 2003
Sami Hyypia from Liverpool (£15.75m) 2003
Chris Kirkland from Liverpool (£1.8m) 2001
Best bargain:
Raimond van der Gouw from Man Utd (275k) 2001. First team regular until end
of 2004 season when he will retire later in the summer to become coach only.
Has great stats as a coach. Will be future assistant if McClaren leaves.

It's alright now, I managed to get Alan Shearer from Celtic for £2.6m as a
player coach. All I need to do now is find an understudy for Kirkland.

If you cheated with the money you always cheat your way to a great
goalkeeper as well. Try Johnsen from Rosenborg.

Yes, they increase their value when going to a big club. I sometimes
pick players up for free, just £300.000 sign on fee on the BIG stars,
and then I stuff them in the reserves, they grow unhappy after a few
months, and whent the transfer window comes around, I sell them for 10
times that amount. Ok, it works in the game, but in real life i would
get Amnesty on my back..lol.
