Hey guys,
My Gigabyte Radeon R7 250x is getting old, and I want to play Assassin's Creed Black flag on Medium to High Settings, if anyone can recommend me a card, preferably with a six pin connector, compatible with a 650 watt power supply, and a budget of $120 that would be awesome! I can go a little over if needed. Btw, my CPU is a AMD Phenom 1055t, with 8gb of ddr3 ram, and no bottlenecks please! Thanks a bunch!

You have a lot of options, from used cards like the HD 7850 or GTX 660 to new cards. If you go new, the 1050 Ti would be the one to get. I'm leery of recommending that though because of potential compatibility problems. With an older system like yours I'd favor a used older card, because those are guaranteed to work.

I would not worry about future proofing because your CPU is already out of date, so you'll be looking at buying all new parts anyways. By the time you're ready for a new CPU/motherboard/ram, you'll want something better than whatever videocard you buy for this current system.

The 1050ti is better in terms of performance I'm assuming?

Ok, but how long will last last? Is it, say "future proof?" Where I won't have to upgrade to a more powerful card 2-4 years down the road?

Good point, the 750ti is still kicking, I might also look into that. Is it better than the 250x?

Ok, I think I'm going to get a 1050 ti, I'm worried about the 750ti being a major bottleneck to my CPU since it is an older card...

This is definitely my recommendation! As for the CPU holding you back, it's not worth getting a weaker GPU to match the CPU. Just get the 1050 Ti and upgrade the rest later. Every computer has a bottleneck somewhere.
