Hi I am planning on getting windows 10 pro for the rig I will build .
There are a lot of cheap windows keys/licenses on the internet but I have no idea which site I can trust .
Could you tell me some ?

There is no "cheap + valid"
A valid Win 10 Home license costs around $90-$100 from a valid retailer.
Pro is more.

Do you plan on cheaping out on the hardware the same way?
Licensed software is no different.

1. Pro gives no performance benefit over Home. Just adds some corporate level features, that you almost certainly don't need.

2. Again, there is no "cheap + valid" regarding license software, especially a Windows license.

Install what you wish, and leave it Unactivated, until such time as you feel that you need to support the people that make the software you use.

Yes, full specs please.

RX 470 4GB...~130€~110€
DDR4 Kingston HyperX 2×4GB....~80€~60€
Samsung HDD 1TB....~25€~20€
Ryzen 3 1300x....99.37€+5.56€
Fractal Design Core 1500....30€

The only components that are new are the ones that have the added price ,,+5.90€,, And the rx 470 is refurbished and has 1 more year of warranty .
Alsoo , will I get updates if my windows is unactivated ?

I would never buy cheap key online anymore. I have bought one and it appeared as invalid after 1 year of using it.
Instead if you have any old unused computer that came with windows 7/8/8.1 just type this serial key during installation and it should work.

If it will nor work:
I worst case you can always ring/say to microsoft you are moving your windows as old computer died(if it really died).

Please do NOT unselect a Best Answer that was selected by the OP. Leave it alone.

Yes.
I have a long running test of a WIn 10 Pro, Unactivated, running in a VM.
Installed Dec 8 2016. Almost 2 years.

Runs today, exactly the same as it did on Day 1.
Yes, it gets all updates, just like normal.

Select...unselect...if it is not your thread, leave that button alone.
Thanks.

1. at first stage I have admitted a misclick and I have written sorry.

"Select...unselect...if it is not your [ leave that button alone."

2. Now I have to ask: If I enter the topic and before posting my answer I can see someone has already got a good solution would you suggest me to "vote up" or "pick as solution"? As I don't want to upset anyone in future.

3. I would like to know whether moderator would suggest me to do the same.

Once again thanks for pointing this out and again, sorry.

For the "Solution", the rules are simple:
1. If the thread originator has chosen an answer you leave it alone, period.
2. If you come across an obviously abandoned thread (2 or more months old) with no chosen answer you may choose one.
3. If you come across a thread with an answer that is obviously wrong, or a better one exists, you may change it, unless the answer was chosen by the thread originator, in which case you abide by rule #1.
4. You do not choose/remove an answer in an active thread unless you are the thread originator.
5. Do not use multiple accounts to award best answers to one another. You will be permanently banned for this.
