[SOLVED] Cheap Xeon lga 1155

I want to upgrade my i5 2500 to a Xeon for hypertheading and overclocking support and I know their cheap right now so I’ve been looking for one with a minimum base clock of 3.4ghz so any suggestions

Also my motherboard is an ASUS P8Z68-V LX and my cooler is a cooler master ml 120 lite

A Xeon for that socket is not overclockable, go for an i7 2600K or a i7 3770K if your motherboard supports it. You'll get hyperthreading and overclocking support.

Ok I thought that a few of the Xeons were overclockable and also you can buy Xeons for like 30 whereas an i7 2600k is 80 and an i7 3770k is even more at this point I just want hyper threading

In conclusion if anyone sees this just buy a i7 2600k I bought one and im now running games a lot better simply because of more headroom and OC
