cheap xeon recommendation

guys i want to upgrade my cpu, i want a intel xeon. which one do you recommend? it should support ddr4 3200 ram and a 1080ti. is this possible? motherboard included for less than 350$?

why xeon? since the later versions you can't run them on consumer boards, they used to be a cheap no-igpu option, not so much anymore.

Why the Xeon? Just because it's for servers doesn't mean it's best for you. What are you trying to do?

Who says it's better? Used to be, not anymore, xeons need a different chipset now.

Intel has moved away from cross Xeon / Comsumer (i5/i7) platform support. No Z170 or Z270 support Xeons because they require a different chipset. You are out of luck.

On top of that Xeons can't be overclocked, only support low memory speeds and generally cost more. Xeons are not good for low-end unless you are a business buying in bulk for your office building.
