So my friend and I got into a conversation and he suggested that it would be better financially to go from AMD fx-6350 to an Intel i3 or i5. He said that the motherboards are cheaper and offer more features. What do you all think?
Edit: I was a bit too vague. I apologize. What he ment was that the value offered by intel, as well as compatibility and overclockability, makes it a stronger option than AMD. He also mentioned the wattage difference and how that affects electric bills. When I told him I already had a cpu and i was looking for a motherboard, he mentioned that it would be cheaper to go intel because of the range of products and what not. To sum up, I bought a computer that came with a 6350; instead of buying parts for it, it was suggested to just buy an intel cpu and mobo because it can offer more. I hope this clears things up
