Cheapest 1440p monitor possible

hi I really wanna find a 1440p monitor but I can't afford one that costs like 300+ dollars I am looking for one that has above 60 hz refresh rate doesn't have to have g sync or freesync
I will be using it for gaming I am currently using an hp 22cwa I oc it to 70 hz when gaming
fun fact the reason the monitor overclocks so well is because it was actually made to support 65 hz
but you have to go into windows settings to put it to there

Assuming USD funds there simply are no 2560x1440 monitors greater than 60Hz at less than $300.

Examples are:
1) 1920x1080 at 144Hz

or

2) 2560x1440 at 60Hz

I personally would rather have the 2560x1440, IPS panel at 60Hz rather than a 1920x1080, TN panel at 144Hz.

There's drawbacks go both obviously. I have a 2560x1440 IPS panel and simply could not drop to 1920x1080 resolution for the desktop and many of the games. Especially anything with smaller text and units... it's less of an issue with games like SKYRIM that have larger HUD an units though even there you'll have more obvious jagged edges.

well do you know the cheapest 1440p 60hz monitor then under $300
lol

If you have an AMD graphics card and prefer fast shooters then the above AOC is probably your best choice.

It supports Freesync at a range of 35Hz to 144Hz so gaming in that FPS range should have no screen tearing. Do note that not all Freesync monitors support a range up to the top of their max refresh which is annoying. I've seen some that are something like 45Hz to 90Hz (45FPS to 90FPS) even though they are 144Hz monitors. Yuck.

Anyway, the 2560x1440 panel has better color and higher pixel density but again is limited to 60Hz. No Freesync.

You can FILTER the monitor list linked as you see fit. I first selected "2560x1440" then raised the refresh bottom limit above 60Hz, then went to the price and clicked to show minimums first. That's how I saw it was over $300USD.

The one I chose for 60Hz is roughly the minimum at $220 ($60 off which appears to still be the case).

This is the link I followed from the Pcpartpicker links: https://www.neweggbusiness.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9B-24-009-728&nm_mc=afc-cjb2b&cm_mmc=afc-cjb2b-_-Monitors+-+LCD+Flat+Panel-_-Acer+America-_-9B24009728&utm_medium=affiliates&utm_source=afc-cjb2b-PCPartPicker%2C+LLC&cjevent=4f6026d6e42211e8835e005f0a240610

Update: there are 24" monitors at this resolution but I'd go 25" minimum as that 1" does make a big difference. But then going to 27" either increases the price or uses a cheaper TN panel at the same price instead of IPS.

So IMO the best value is 25", 2560x1440, IPS, 60Hz at about $220USD on sale.
