Hi, I want to know what is the best bang for the buck motherboard out there that supports sli and the i5 2500k? I will be doing a bit of overclocking too in the future ( not too extreme overclcoking).thanks in advance.

best bang for the buck is generally ASRock, but I am not a huge fan of their quality.

I much prefer Gigabyte or Asus, but they are a bit more expensive.

Definitely go with the P67 Chipset though, as it overclocks *much* better than the H67, and you don't need the onboard graphics of a Z68

Whats wrong with the onboard graphics of Z68? I am exploring one

Nothing at all, they are great. But if you are going to have a dedicated graphics card it is pointless since it is not going to be used. And you might as well spend a little less for the same performance without the onboard graphics.

I am not saying the Z68 is bad, in fact it is a very good chipset with a solid, and powerful onboard GPU. It is just pointless if you are going to be using a dedicated card.

That helps. Cos I was leaning towards the Asus Z68V Pro & 2500K, and I dont need an external card.
I was wondering how the Z68 on board graphics is like.

the asrock from newegg the guy mentioned looks really good, but I live in Canada so I want a cheap one that is in Canada. I also heard some bad stuff about asrocks having little problems currently with there boards? is this true? could someone clearify this for me, thnx.

Also, I should mention that my budget is 100-110 dollars (CAD). So what would be a best bang-for-the-buck board that supports i5 2500k, Sli, and some overclocking with that price? (If there exists any) Also I welcome anyone who has a better opinion or strategy to offer, I would consider it and appreciate it.

Anybody know any motherbaords that matches this description?
