What is the cheapest motherboard that has 4 ddr2 ram slots and works with 45nm Q9650 CPU and a GTX 1050. I need this mobo for my friend due to extreme ram prices with the newer ram. We already bought all the parts for the computer, but the current broken mobo - intel DQ45CB - is a pain in the butt and doesn't wanna work. All the parts aren't returnable so we have to use this motherboard. The motherboard also must fit into the DEEPCOOL Tesseract SW. I already made a transaction for the Dell Optiplex 760 for the replacement mobo but I am planning to return it due to it sounding troublesome. If any of you have successfully used a Dell Optiplex motherboard please tell me some tips as I've heard it has many unstandardized ports.

I'm using an 2011 OP755, 6GB DDR2. I've installed 1TB Samsung Spinpoint 2.5" HDD in it, And am planning to hook up a 750ti soon, here's what I felt:
Pros:
- 4 ram slots
- Upgradable CPU
- Mine had an inbuilt speaker
- Mine also had a dedicated fan for HDD cooling
- 8 USB ports, more than enough!
- Max 16GB RAM support, so kinda catches up to the modern era!
Cons:
- Not much space in the SFF version, so unless you wanna hook a LOW-PRO GPU, go for a bigger case
- Non-standard slimline DVD reader with unique power cable
- Stock PSU comes with only one hdd power cable, so have to buy splitter separately
- Onboard chipset can't run any games, (in my case, 12 FPS on CS:1.6)
- Bios-Level Cpu OC locked, so overclocking ain't possible
- Very poor airflow, causes my normal CPU to be at 55-60 C and EVEN MY HDD REACHES 43- 57 C
- Stock PSU have VERY limited amount of cables and is only 275W, can't support 4, 6 or 8 pin GPU power...

Before this, I had a 2001 OP240, which I still have somewhere 😛, About a month ago I tried to bring it back to life, but even thinking of it makes me wanna barf :heink::kaola::pfff: It took 69 Hours (Yes, accurately measured) to install Win XP on it.... And the jumper setting plus IDE cable mess was a headache, run into a problem, and it would take days to figure out, older bios version, no usb boot support, etc. OP755 is waaaaaaaay better.

Ultimately if you still wanna get a Dell OP, make sure its not older than 2010. Enjoy! 😀
Bonus, here's an original new mobo for OP760 https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA9AX6E80447
