im planning on changing my current psu to a "Be quiet! Pure power 11 500w 80+ Gold rated" psu and to get a upgrade from my gt 1030.
My full current specs are
i3 8100 (3.6ghz)
Njoy 450w psu (now you see why i want to change the psu)
gt 1030 (gddr5 2gb)
12 gb ram (4+6 | both at 2133 mhz)
I don't really have a budget range, i just want the cheapest gpu recommendations that could run on 500w. thank you.

The cheapest decent upgrade would be a second hand 1050ti. Still super overpriced though in the market eBay avg is 175$

thank you for responding, right now i found a rx 550 and gtx 1050 (non ti) , both at 2 gb vram, and both at the same price, I'll be going for the 1050 as it seems like the better deal

tbh...i would wait until the new stuff comes out and the supply issue settles down. unless there is a specific reason (game) you need it for. if its just to get more frames in a current game id wait.

in the meantime a 1030 does well at 720p.

Yeah i agree, but my psu has to be upgraded unless i want my pc to be in danger, i will be thinking to upgrade my gpu more in the future, still unsure how prices will go, but i can wait, thank you.

So wait for what maybe 3 months, 6 months or 1+ year.. Great advice.

the 1030 is a great budget gpu, my backup pc (on sig) still uses one. But I would have to agree with the 1050ti suggestion, it's a strong upgrade from the 1030. It should allow you to play most PS4 titles with ease. As for the price, got a brand new 1050ti for 220 USD a few months ago, and it has been performing nicely.
