I have an i5-3350P and want to get a new mobo. I'm planning on getting a GTX 660 GPU as well and I want to know which is the cheapest mobo that I can get but is still good quality. I don't want to get it from any other site besides Amazon. Thanks
Something like this H61 board for $45 should be enough and Gigabyte is a good brand. The H61 chipset is supposed to be compatible with Ivy Bridge. Some older revisions may require a BIOS update, though. If you want to be absolutely sure that your CPU will work out of the box, a slightly more expensive H77 or B75 would be a better option such as this $57 MSI B75.
I did take a look at the MSI B75, looks good! I think I'll go with that. Does the microATX board have any limitations on the GPU that I want to include?
