Cheapest Motherboard for RX 480 (8GB) + FX-8350

Couple things

1. Do you own the 8350 yet? If not I would recommend against it at this point

2. Assuming you do own it "cheap motherboard" should not be used in the same sentence as FX-8350. You need a 970 or 990FX motherboard for that chip to perform at its max and one with decent power phases. These crap 4+1 power phase boards only create an unstable mess. We see this daily here. A cheap motherboard will help you live up to your user name. Good ones start at about $100

i3-6100 has FAR better single core performance and benchmarks better in every game, the best way to go on a budget. It is dual core with hyperthreading so can act as far as having 4 cores. Despite what some may tell you NO games benefit from 8 core processors, and AMD FX processors are old technology at this point with low IPC. Do you just need the motherboard, processor, and memory, or?

No i3 6100 is compared to a Fx 6300
fx 8350 has about a mid intel i5 speed
try to get the wraith cooler with this cpu , (almost performing equal to aftermarket coolers)
If you want cheapest (i won't recommend overclocking) get a gigabyte ga-78lmt-usb3 or if you have little more money go for asus m5a97 models
The gigabyte board is a good board if you don't want to overclock, it is also one and only 760g board having 3 heatsinks , so no thermal throttling at stock speeds.

No, its not. And NEVER buy a 760G motherboard for a 125w FX CPU, it does not have enough power phases.

As for the performance:

I think with that gpu it can. Try i3 6100.

This is FAR better than your build for only 5 more:

Check the chart I linked above the i3 is faster, the PSU you selected is junk as well. i3 is also newer and if you ever want an upgrade an i7 will drop right in. With the FX processor you are done, no worthwhile upgrades.
