Hello,
I am looking to build the cheapest pc possible for 720p/1080p videos watching.
I only need these cheapest possible
Motherboard
RAM
PSU(possibly a random ATX)
CPU
no need for GPU
for now here is what i found
HP 915Q-30$
2gb ddr2 667 mhz-4$
Intel Pentium D 945-5$
Random ATX-17$

No xD 17 dollars for the psu.I already have a laptop + gaming pc and i have some old parts i dont use anymore with a bit of money i may be able to build myself some kind of spare computer to watch movies 😛

Just checked my old parts i have some old atx power supply i cant check the voltage because it isnt with me right now.I have a g41-m7 which supports lga 775.I still need a cpu, gpu, ram

main problem is motherboard but you have that so...
i would suggest you to get core 2 quad. c2d strugles with 1080p.
and any gpu released in past 3 years
likley gtx 600, 700 series
and ram is dependent on mobo support.
check ebay you can find your products there.

What do you think about this.

It can even run assassin creed syndicate at low medium settings at average 20 fps.
