I've started work on a new Vectrex game and am looking for a cheap way
of getting my code running on a Vectrex. I've asked about a VecFlash
but it seems that at the moment you need to supply your own cart case,
I don't think any of mine are suitable (needs to have 4 mounting
prongs, mine all have 5?).
Now I'm looking into getting a socketed cart from vectrexcarts.com and
a chip programmer. Would something like this work ok?
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=4661&item=3877286802&rd=1
Also I'd like to build a multicart, would I be able to build one of
these http://www.harmlesslion.com/stuff/vectrex/ using a cart from
vectrexcarts.com, are there any designs that use a menu system instead
of switches? (I've seen one site with quite a detailed explaination
of the menuing system but most of it went way over my head and there
didn't seem to be any schematics for the cart).
Thanks
Robert
