I am here as a first-time builder, with the question of: how do most builders acquire their software? (OS, Adobe suite, etc)
I know the obviously answer is going to be "nut up and buy it!) but I am a student with a strict budget of $1000 and have already planned my build accordingly. The last thing I want to do is downgrade my hardware, especially when I am sure there are lots of people that get their software illegally,
I read online that students can get great discounts on these products, but I am at community college and don't know how to go about this.
(BTW I am looking for Windows 7)
