Cheated out of RAM?

Okay so I recently bought an HP ENVY Touchsmart with 12GB RAM, 1TB and windows 8. I downloaded Speccy and it says this: Operating System

I'm not too good with these things so can someone maybe help explain all these things or at least if I was cheated out of RAM. The website by the way was very reputable but I don't know what else could make it only read 6GB RAM. Thanks for any help, I appreciate it!

I would guess you were sent a system with only 6gb of memory vice the 12gb you ordered. It seems unlikely that the memory has an error causing to misread that amount.
