Keep getting error message when trying to login to Toshiba, C55-A laptop.

Check cable connection! PXE-MOF: Exiting Intel PXE-ROM. No bootable device - - insert boot disk and press any key

Next line:
Intel UNDI, PXE-2.0 (build 083)
Copyright (C) 1997-2000 Intel Corporation

Next line:
For Atheros PCIE Ether net Controller v2.1.1.1 (12/23/11)

Then we start all over w/ "Check cable c...." and so on.

Have recently installed Garmin & Fitbit devices plus other apps?

This is indicating that your laptop doesn't have a boot device. Your hard drive is not working to boot the computer. The computer is attempting to PXE (pronounced pixie) boot through the network. Obviously you don't have an ethernet cable plugged in and a server somewhere on your network to boot from.

You need to check the boot order in the BIOS and ensure that the hard drive is in the boot order -- probably after the DVD drive. If it is listed in the boot order, then you have a hardware problem with the disk.
