Check cable signal samsung monitor

good morning,i started my computer this morning and after working normaly the day before it all of a sudden gave a message: a moving block check signal cable with a black screen. i have checked all the cables and everythings is connected as it should be.could you please advise me what is possibly wrong.

Maybe re-seating the video card into the motherboard slot (with the power off) would fix it.
