Check directories of a removed hard drive

Is there any way to check directories list on a hard drive which was removed from p.c,like from some windows cache or temp files? i wanna know what folders were on that removed hard drive since for security reasons,because my hard drive was stolen?

Yes.

I assume it is SATA. If so, shut down....connect it to a SATA port on the MB....reboot....go to BIOS....make sure it's recognized....make sure it's booting from your other drive.....save BIOS.....let it boot....you should see it in Windows.

i think you didnt understand what I said,my hard drive is stolen,i want to know what folders were exactly in that drive since am not sure about that,i want to know if it had some of my sensitive data or not.
