check for post authenticity

this is the thread were you can check out if a post in this group comes
from the original and true authenticated poster

anyone being impersonated can use this thread for authentication reasons

my suggestion is using the following format

poster:
email:
date:
newsgroups:
total:
posts:

if you have any doubt about the authenticity of a post the best way is
always email the original author asking for confirmation

Can't the impersonater fill this out as well? I mean it isn't really proving
anything. Oops, didn't mean to destroy another crack-pot post of yours.

You ought to switch your achiving on, because in 6 days your posts in
this thread will disappear and we will never know which other posts are
authentic.

Mind, you, all your posts will have gone anyway, so all we'll be left
with are the imposter's.

Why? If you don't feel your posts are worth archiving, why should
anyone feel they are worth believing?

It's a bit of a jump isn't it? I mean, er, chartered accountancy to lion
taming in one go.
You don't think it might be better if you worked your way toward lion
taming, say, via banking...
